Susana the Brave
Ngángá Mbugua

Susana is no ordinary teacher. She is a young woman with big ideas on how to turn dusty, poor and dreary mashidani into a green and progressive area that its residents can be happy and proud to live in. But she has to contend with an arrogant chief who will do everything in his power to stop her.

Ng’ang’a Mbugua is a poet, creative writer and journalist working in Nairobi. He holds a BA degree in Literaure and philosopy. In 2000, he won the Pan-Africa broadcast and Heritage Award for a series of investigative reports on human rights. He has published several children stories.
